We are a non profit organisation whose primary function is to save working dog breeds from being euthanased in council pounds and shelters and find new homes for them. We cover the entire east coast of Australia which encompasses Qld, NSW and Vic.

Half Way Home
We are an all-breed dog and cat rescue staffed by volunteers and entirely funded by public donations that go straight into helping animals in our care. We rely upon a network of volunteer foster homes that care for the rescue animals while a forever home is being found. All animals that we take in are vaccinated, desexed, micro-chipped, wormed and groomed before being rehomed.

Rescued With Love Inc. is a fully registered, not for profit organization. We are a group of foster carers who help rescue unwanted dogs from Pounds and Shelters. We have all their vet work done and then care for them in our homes, and teach them how to be a loved well mannered pet. We then find the best possible home suitable for their needs.
Through no fault of their own tens of thousands of dogs are euthanased in pounds in Australia every year. Many of these dogs are suitable to be rehomed into loving human families but sadly are not given a chance. There are shelters that help some of these dogs to find good homes, however they are overburdened with the sheer volume of dogs that end up in the pounds.

Save-A-Dog Scheme was established in 1985 to offer a humane alternative to the killing of unwanted dogs, especially dogs of good temperament, that would otherwise be destroyed at pounds and shelters. Save-A-Dog Scheme is an incorporated, non-profit, community-based organisation controlled and operated by volunteers with the help of paid staff. It operates as a registered animal shelter and combines this with foster care in the community. Each dog is desexed, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, vet-checked and temperament-assessed prior to adoption.
